Mobile Content

To download content directly from your PlatinumTel handset you must have access to 3G Web services, which you can have added by contacting our Customer Service Department at 1-866-CALL-ME-1 or add yourself by creating an online account. Subscribers on the PlatinumTel Unlimited service have access to 3G web services and do not need to contact our Customer Service.

Once the service has been added and you are able to access the Web on your phone, please follow these steps:

  • Start the web browser on your phone
  • On the home page, you will find a list of destinations, select Downloads
  • Browse for the item you would like to download (ringtone, game, wallpaper)
  • Select the item, and proceed to purchase

The price of content items varies. Ringtones will cost anywhere from $2.00 to $4.00, while the cost of games is slightly higher.

A 25¢ surcharge is added to each download's price as it appears on your phone's browser.

You must have a data-capable handset to be able to download mobile content.
